SOS ADS from ClioSoft is the only SoC design management software for RF design teams using ADS from Keysight Technologies. It enables RF designers to work with other designers, located either locally or at remote design sites, to build and collaborate on the same design, from concept to GDSII.

SOS ADS is built on the SOS7 design platform from ClioSoft to meet the unique requirements of semiconductor design teams. The requirements of SoC designs are quite different from the needs of software teams and require a tight coupling between the different EDA tools and the design management platform. This provides design engineers the comfort of managing the design data from the familiar environment of the EDA tool and does not necessitate learning a new tool. SOS ADS provides tight integration between ADS from Keysight Technologies and the SOS7 SoC design management platform to maximize designer productivity and design team efficiency. Moreover, with the growing increase in RF design modules within a SoC design along with analog modules, SOS ADS makes it easy for designers to share design data with other tools such as Cadence® Virtuoso®.

The SOS7 platform provides enterprise security and improves design flow efficiency along with design team productivity by providing an eco-system where designers can use tools from different vendors to design digital, analog and RF design modules. Its scalable architecture and multi-stream hyper data transfer technology enables design teams to customize as needed to meet the requirements of their design methodology without compromising on performance. SOS7 provides flexible release and derivative management along with revision control to meet the requirements of any design flow while optimizing the amount of network storage space being used by the design project. It maintains a correlation between the defects and changes made in the design to fix the defect. SOS7 supports commonly used bug-tracking systems such as Jira, Trac, Bugzilla and Fusion Forge. It also provides semiconductor companies the flexibility to make changes in their choice of EDA tools without having to worry about the integration of the tools with the design data management platform.
